Who We Are
SRK is an independent, international consulting practice dedicated to supporting the mining and water resource industries.
SRK Russia is part of the SRK Group, a group of independently owned country practices, which employs more than 900 people with 38 offices in 6 continents. Consequently SRK Russia can access expertise and knowledge across all mineral types, mining and processing technologies, and environmental situations. This knowledge has been successfully applied to our clients in Russia enabling them to access international best practice in project evaluation and operational performance. It has also been used to provide local knowledge to clients seeking to invest overseas.
The key features which distinguish SRK from our competitors are:
- Independence – SRK is not owned by equipment suppliers or engineering group, keen to sell their products.
- International – no other mining consultancy has the breadths and depth of experience.
- Staffing – approximately 80% of our revenues come from our employees with the remainder provided by associates or specialist engineering groups. This encourages consistency and investment in training.
- Longevity – due to SRK culture and approach, our staff turnover is low (<5% in Europe) and many staff have been with the company for more than ten years.
